White helmet seems about right for a whiteout, and I think thats the same jersey as the one in the picture. The shoulder stripe looks a little different though.

I visited VT when considering colleges. I can attest that the construction of their campus buildings was brought up on my campus tour as a point of historical pride. I never once heard the term "Hokie stone" though. It's just limestone, and that's what the tour guide called it.
