@Longestday - any chance you counted the number of outright fumbled snaps in the VT game? Not counting the bobbled exchanges.

Memory tells me 3-4. I remember feeling fortunate that those didn't derail us too much. Something to watch this fall.

Re-watching this one, there was still a chance for a pretty good play.

If MJ strings it out longer to the left to make 49 commit to stopping MJ from turning up the field between 94 and 49, there was a chance for him to pitch it to Clinton at the last second. Qua picks up 6 coming from the middle of the field to seal up the outside lane. IF CL gets past 49, that's a LOT of green along the left sideline. That will come with experience...sacrificing yourself to get defenders to commit to you in order to free up the pitch. Tevin and Nesbitt were GREAT at that. They got smacked, but it allowed the pitchman to make a play which usually went for a great gain.
