If I remember correctly, a few years ago Bama came in and stole a committed kicker (Bulovas) from us. Seems like we may be in much better shape in that department with Wells.
Whatever. Bulovas probably would have won us the Tennessee game and a few more in 2017.If I remember correctly, a few years ago Bama came in and stole a committed kicker (Bulovas) from us. Seems like we may be in much better shape in that department with Wells.

I remember that game - Utah code-red'd Alabama - I think Urban Meyer was Utah's coach at the time. This was the first time since the 2009 Sugar Bowl against Utah that I saw a Nick Satan team get humiliated in a big game
Kyle Whittingham badly outcoached Nick SatanI remember that game - Utah code-red'd Alabama - I think Urban Meyer was Utah's coach at the time.
I can't find it now, but I saw in interesting article on Al kicking last night. The premise was a lot of the kicking problems are coaching. Saban wants the QB to hold because he likes having the option of the QB there for fakes. The QB has a lot less time to practice the holds for the kicking game than the punter (most common) and it shows in some sloppy kicking. If I remember correctly, a few years ago Bama came in and stole a committed kicker (Bulovas) from us. I really like Dabo. Clem is my second favorite team in the conference. Was hoping someone would start a thread on the Alabama loss.
Did anyone catch Dabo's sly troll of the SEC? "We play in a really tough conference and that prepares us for games like this."
EXACTLY !!!Bulovas is the Brendan Douglas of kickers.
I thought the same thing. Will Bama be accused of Clemsoning?
