I really am more concerned about what DC and OC ( for that fact ), that will want to work under Collins. I mean, which DC will be willing to flush their career down the toilet for Collins? Usually coordinators work under a head coach, to gain experience and work towards being a head coach themselves. I don't think Collins will provide any benefits.

Perhaps... But, I am not a huge fan of the 3-4, to be fair. I do see the benefit of the 3-4... However ; you have to have the athletes to run it. A 4-3 is a bit more forgiving, with lesser talent. Or at least run multiple looks.... Either way, Thacker didn't get the job done. Perhaps Collins will step up??? Pull a Dan Quinn, if you will. However; that didn't work out great for Quinn, if I recall.

The assumption has been made that he would be demoted since the announcement there would be new leadership on both sides of the ball. But, nothing's happened yet, and no smoke about any prospective new DC's. We're all in the dark.
