I should've gone to the game today (jinx) After what we've done..we lose to freaking Duke?

If we win tomorrow, we are 2-1. If Duke loses to Miami, they are 1-2. So we beat Duke.

We then beat Miami and Clemson on head to head. But we have to beat Clemson. Since Clemson is a better team, we have a better chance. (tic)

Syracuse is a great place to vacation in the summer, but they aren't playing.

For us to get to the championship game now, two things must now happen:
1- We must beat Clemson tomorrow
2- Duke must lose to Miami on Saturday

Best case scenario for tonight then is for Miami to rock Clemson forcing Clemson to use a lot of pitchers and for Miami to be able to rest as much of their pitching staff as possible. If Miami loses tonight, they will know they are eliminated before playing Duke. Same thing if we both beat Clemson. Not sure how that might affect how they play against Duke.

Our game tomorrow with Clemson will be important for both teams regardless of what happens tonight so it should be a tough game.

We are playing well, just not enough consistent hitting. We lost the game today on HRs. Kind of hard for the D to compensate.

By the Duke/Miami game on Saturday, Miami will know how we did on Friday.
1) If we lose, I don't give a damn. We are probably a #3 NCAA seed.
2) If we win, Miami will be out of it and only be playing for pride. Duke will be playing to win. But Duke will get rolled by Miami who was 27 of their last 30 for a good reason.

If we win and Duke wins, that's cool. We will have been 3-1 in the ACC tourney. Can't complain about that. We are probably a #2 seed.

But if we go to Sunday and win, then it's time to celebrate.

Bottom line, beat Clemson.
