My group and I requested some and never heard anything. Just read the AJC article that said there were 9,000 ticket requests! Guess we’ll be buying through ticket master if we didn’t get any.

Has anyone received confirmation that their bowl ticket request was successful? Or is Tech still working on it - including accessing additional tickets?

Was told by someone in Ticket Operations that seat allocations would begin on Friday, and all requests, changes, etc. would be final at that point.

But season ticket holders or others with special status may have better insight/different info. than me.

My wife just called the tckt office, they said that if you have reserved tickets thru their website and got a confirmation # then you are golden- tickets will start being sent out on Monday

How were we only allotted 3,000 tickets? This stadium seats 47k with most of it in the lower bowl. Strange stuff from the organizers.

This doesn't really make any sense, given that they are saying we had 9,000 requests and the ticket office is saying they will all be honored. Perhaps there is an initial allocation and then the schools have a deadline to submit requests for more.

I just did the same. They said if you put a deposit down you will get tickets.
Ok thanks for the clarification--that is the way i read the AJC article as well--that they are fulfilling all requests that met the deadline, but that NEW tickets past that would need to be Ticketmaster, etc...

Anybody got a good idea on hotels and eats? Preferably around the stadium. Where’s the team staying?

I live a few blocks from the stadium and I'd be down to drop a few recs for people depending on what kind of vibe they're into.

This restaurant is not far from the stadium and is great.......

That place is fine but imo there are better places closer to the stadium.

Squints, where have you been? My daughter and I are at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown. Any good restaurants around there, or will we need to Uber ( just for fun we’re taking Amtrak, so we won’t have a car).
