Tech Getting Some Late Kick Love

I totally get the angst about some of this staffs shortcomings we’ve all seen. Clock management and late substitutions leading to penalties or a player running around with his hands up at the snap. Those are ridiculous and tells me this staff has to do some serious growing. But I’m not throwing in the towel yet. Harbaugh is a bad example to counter that because he’s proven to be inept. Which is so odd considering at Stanford he looked legit. Collins and staff have a clean slate for year 3 because we finally have a player at the most important position with game experience now. Now, if a WR lines up offsides on the first drive or we spike it with 45 seconds on the clock, or we make a big play and then a defender taunts or smacks someone in the face then I may break my TV. We will only win games if we don’t turn it over and we don’t beat ourselves with stupid mistakes. But unfortunately today’s players seem to equate playing “fast and loose” with “taunting and strutting”. I like the way Bama does it. They play fast and loose but I never saw them taunt and trash talk one time last season. They just whipped you between the whistles.

I'm absolutely on the same page about penalties and self inflicted wounds. Surely collins knows that's something he has to correct if he wants any chance at success. Dude isnt an idiot. Hopefully.
