I guess $165k for an early mid-career salary is not bad, It's not as much as it used to be.

It puts you in the top ~10% of incomes in the US. But for people in their 20s and 30s making $150-$200k, we call them HENRYs. High Earner Not Rich Yet

This is where my mid-30's people are ($140-$160k). Depending on where you live, that's not necessarily stupid money.

Just FTR, GA Tech is in ATL (tic) so that money puts you pretty high on the hog around here. Not unheard of by any means, but pretty darn good.
