Tapatalk Issue

Is anyone else having problems accessing via Tapatalk?

Tapatalk works for other forums.

Since last update have been having "Failed to connect..." and "Handshake failed" when accessing gtswarm.
Has gotten worse the last few days. Doesn't matter if on various wi-fi access points or on 4G.

Have cleared cache to no avail.

Any suggestions appreciated, especially if you have experienced the same issue and able to get resolved.

Also "upgraded" to 4.13 by accessing the apk from apkmirror.com . the Play store still only has version 4.12.

Did uninstall of tapatalk, shut down phone, restarted phone ran apk for tapatalk 4.13.

Able to sign in on other two GT Sports forums, but still get the dreaded "Failed to connect to forum, please check with forum administrator if this problem exists".

Not even getting the "Handshake failed" error when trying to sign in.

Frustrated

I want access to the best GT Sports Forum via tapatalk to make access on the go so very nice!

No issues for me - using version 3.7 on my lowly iPhone 4S w/ 3G.

Confirming the issue and working on it.

Thought I fixed this after the upgrade last week but apparently not.

Hmm, haven't fully fixed it yet so it may be on and off.

Will confirm when I think it's completely fixed.

Hey guys,

This issue has been semi-fixed, waiting on Tapatalk's support team to respond to one of my tickets to figure out if there is a better fix.

In the mean time, if you continue to get errors trying to connect using Tapatalk, you may need to delete and re-follow GT Swarm on the Tapatalk app.

Can someone using Apple confirm their tapatalk is still working as before?

couldn't connect.
Will Delete GTSWARM.
To off phone.
Restart phone.
Clear Tapatalk cache.
Find and Join GTSWARM...
and....

(don't know if the off, on, cache clearing, et al were necessary but did them to remove as many variable as possible.)

Anyone else having issues with being redirected to the App Store to download some dumb game when opening threads? It's been doing that on & off for the past couple weeks on my phone. Really annoying

Not having that issue (thankfully).
Try clearing the cache first.
If still a problem, uninstall the App, power down, power up (duh) and re-install the Tapatalk App from the Play Store.

Never mind... Magically started performing... (Darn good work!!)

with last Tapatalk update - version 4.2.0 , do have you heard from anyone with connection issues?
Goes into "loading" but no further.
Have powered down, etc. Going on 6+ minutes in loading cycle as I tap this note.
