Found out that Gonzo has been battling strep throat the last 3 weeks... finally went to doctor at the end of last week. Hopefully some meds and rest will get him in better shape.

Appears our batters are picking it up a bit after not so good starts.

Best not to talk about our pitchers though ...... I think there are going to be some very ugly ERAs once summer ball is over. The BaseballCube site looks like they only update after the summer ball season is over. King and Zac Attack had a rough time.

From the 2015 State of Baseball thread ... it would be nice to have college ball going on now .....

Rounding Third and Heading Home - Georgia Tech Official Athletic Site - RamblinWreck.com http://www.ramblinwreck.com/sports/m-basebl/spec-rel/072015aaa.html

Reading that synopsis makes me think the summer off and working on something else at GT would have been better. A few bright spots (Datoc?, ??) but considering that the level of play outside the Cape Cod league is probably a lot weaker than the ACC is not encouraging.

Please show me where I am wrong since I'd like to be.

Yeah, stat-wise only Datoc, Wiseman, and Craport did very well this summer.

I found some East Cobb Yankees stats (as mentioned previously, they mostly play travel teams comprised of incoming college freshmen and/or rising HS seniors where talent levels can fluctuate greatly).

Pitching:
Keyton Gibson 46 ip, 27 hits, 14 R (2 ER), 55 K, 14 BB, 5-2, .32 ERA
