I especially like the fact that Trey and AnneMarie are staying in Atlanta to support Parker. There is just something special about brothers and Georgia Tech football.

Read the story in the paper this morning. loved it. Hard to believe that he'll be losing that much weight! Down to 215... the training for the marathon will help him burn some of the calories need to achieve that weight goal.

Talk a bout a big goal - the marathion- good luck Trey!

I have seen enough ex-football players blow up in weight over the years. I am glad to see him taking the bull by the horns. Yes, a marathon is a big goal, but people far less young and far less athletic do it all the time.

Didn't I read that Sean Bedford dropped from about 275-280 to 220 or so? Getting rid of those linemen muscles and back to a semi-regular guy physique makes a world of difference. I gather it involves not merely a rigorous diet, but wholesale changes in their lifting routine. Anybody know?

I believe Bill Curry made a similar change in weight after his playing days.
