I have always liked Elko and I'm glad to see him in front of the press. He always plays out in the spring games then he disappears into special teams. I'm hoping this year he begins to see the field at WR. I think he'll really contribute if he gets the opportunity. He's already shown up on special teams; he just needs a chance.

Update: Coach Williams says he wants tough guys. Elko certainly fits that.

I hope he gets Stockton spot in the offense, he deserves more playing time this year

I want Elko to succeed as much as anyone, but you must have seen something in last year’s spring game that I missed. I did see at least three drops. Hopefully, he's been working on that.

Definitely needed to fix the dropsies.

On the bright side, he seemed to be effective at getting open.

Yes! "Way too Early". But I accept all positive hype concerning GT. Yahoo article with quotes from and links to CBS article by Brad Crawford.

"Colorado football has a well-documented challenging start to the season, with two Power Four road games in nonconference play and three of its first four games on the road.

That tough stretch begins with a matchup against Georgia Tech in Atlanta, and CBS Sports' Brad Crawford gave his way-too-early pick for the Buffaloes' season opener.

Crawford is not giving Colorado much of a chance, believing the cross-country trip plus the several new starters will debut. He predicts Georgia Tech to blow out Colorado 42-17."

I had not seen this man talk before. Wow. This guy gets it and he’s in the same mold as Key. He says all the right things, but it sounds genuine and not contrived like that used car salesman we used to have.

On a sidenote, it’s interesting to see how this coaching staff has turned a 180 from the last one. In every way. Key is molding the staff and team in his own image.

I’m so glad we retained him through multiple coordinator changes. I think our DL this year has a chance to be way better than expected.
