Were not processed to make room for over signing. Guess this has to be pointed out a lot.

How do you know that? Cause you say so? I'll make sure to take that as iron clad truth. lol

It's like I said earlier though: It's not shocker for a 4th string CB and a guy who's changed position 3 times to wanna jet out and have nothing to do with the staff being meanies.

I do wonder how the opinions being expressed here in the forum recently regarding this issue are representative of the fan base as a whole. It’s certainly not consistent with my experience with the majority historically.

Maybe the fan base has just experienced a dynamic shift in philosophy and value on integrity. Maybe I was only exposed to a small subset of the whole all along and didn’t grasp the truth of the whole.

Sad day when integrity is not valued for whatever reason or personal desire.

Maybe I just don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

LOL. A few people on here are experiencing the same feeling they had when they found out Santa isn't real. The internal battle they're having is real. Bless their hearts...doesn't mean they can't celebrate Christmas.
WHAT SANTA IS NOT REAL I knew not to trust someone in red , but what does this mean about the Easter Bunny ?

I’m not sure how those numbers add up. If you graduate 90% of the guys, have 20 commit classes but average 12 exits...it just doesn’t work for me. What am I missing?

Are you asking how we are suppose to graduate S/As that are no longer here, or that you don’t see how we can graduate 90% of S/As that stay 4/5 years?

I’d like to think I am a fairly even handed and rational fan. I’ve been a GT supporter since I was a kid and enjoyed my 4 years on campus. Married a GT girl and hope our daughter will one day step on to campus to cheer the brave and bold as a student.

That said, if we move to a program that ignores academics for the sake of athletics and dishonors our program by failing to stand by our commitment to the students representing us as SAs I’ll be greatly disheartened. I have had a few friends play for both GT and UGA and the experience was dramatically different to hear them tell it. (Players getting paid at uga in bags of cash in their locker room during practice, systemic cheating and the purest definition of processing available: “son you’re not going to stay on scholarship because you’re not good enough to see the field”.

I hear @bikeseat and @Ibeeballin share that this kind of behavior happened / happens at GT and I gotta say that’s disappointing and contradicts my previous understanding of the limits our athletic programs would go to in order to win. It is a shame that we are not living up to the ideals we put forth as important. That is directly in contradiction to the total person program and the 40 year plan.

All I can say is that this thread has me feeling a certain kind of blue that even Miles Davis and John Coltrane can’t help with. I’m embarrassed for us as a program and for the fans (as alumni and people) who are comfortable with that approach.

I intend to address my concerns with the GTAA prior to continuing my donations. I follow college sports in lieu of professional for the (admittedly ever deceasing) distinction of sport being subservient to the great life lessons and development opportunities of continued education.

I know this is just one man’s opinion and I’m not writing to sway people’s minds as much as to define for myself how I feel. Thanks for listening / reading and this concludes my soap box rant.

Try to think that people are not evkl.

The players decided to leave so fast we could get commits fast enough.

In 2 or 3 more guys decide to leave we will be undersigned . Before that Bad bad, bad, bad

Will the guys that leave after we are undersigned be go ok d goid goid?

They are all the same players and coach interactions.

Think up something new to complain about or at least get back cgc aint crap till we have results on the field.

If he is processing kids that is bad and it is new compared to all prior staffs unless someone can name some names. No one has yet.

Travis Chambers under CCG was my understanding from a GTAA employee at the time (although I think he came back under CPJ), a friend of mine from North Springs H.S. in 1969. He is deceased now so I don’t want his name brought into this hypocritical c.f.
