"It felt really good," Mason said. "It felt good to get out there and go out there and have some fun. It definitely felt good. And get a team victory."

Happy for the dude. Too bad he plays for a dirty cheating a&$ team.
What makes the Pats so great is their talent scouting department almost never fails. How does a team so low in the draft order continue to pull gem after gem out of the quagmire of draftees?

Same argument could be made for CPJ and the way he wins with 2 and 3 star recruits. I would argue CPJ has it a little harder because in the NFL if they pick you, you're theirs. We have to sell recruits.

Is this for real? If so, someone needs to find a clip.
Oh yeah, it happened. It was one play before Gronk's 3rd TD catch, and right after the play the announcers spent a minute or so talking up Shaq's athleticism and how Belichick loves him. Then of course Gronk went Gronk, and that was that.

Did anyone else see the goal line play where Shaq lined up at fullback?

They did it a couple times in a later goal line series too which wasn't effective (one play was a run that they stuffed, one a fake where the receiver want l wasn't open, then they took Shaq out and threw a TD to Gronk). I loved the idea, but based on effectiveness we might not see it again. Would be cool to see him tote the rock though.
