Not ideal but I think receiver is a fairly replaceable position in cfb. We simply don’t have enough money to keep everybody so we have to decide how to allocate that money. Personally I want to see the money invested at QB on the OL and on the defensive side of the ball.

I’m curious to see how good rivers and Patterson are as replacements. They were both productive last year but FIU was a bad team playing other bad teams and no matter how bad you are somebody has to get the yards and will look good.

Sad to see this as he is one of my favorite players. I wish him well unless he goes anywhere that competes against us and next man up.

As a long time fan of Tech football and college football in general, In am saddened by the state of the game. I feel for CBK. It is like he became a head coach just at the wrong time. He does all of the right things and then the players just take off. I do not really blame the players as they are just taking money while they can. I guess I would have done the same at their age. And the coaches started it all with their big contracts. But I cannot see the fans staying with the game if this keeps up. The money culture is dragging the sport down. Where will the game be in five years?

Looks like we will become among the best feeder schools for the big boys, who have the money. The growing disparity in football revenues will continue to accelerate the multi-tier separation between the haves and have-nots. Retention of talent is going to be a b**ch…

We just picked up an All American WR..This is 100% Lik upset we signed 3 WRs.
