My last thought on this thread before we find out where we go and who we play Friday....IMO the team that "stole our spot" is Southern Miss. The SEC getting 8 spots is earned if you go by the metrics the committee is on record as using. In fact the SEC really should get 9 hosts if you go by those metrics. UCLA, being a west coast school, deserves a spot, IMO. I believe we (along with TCU) have slightly better resumes than Southern Miss.

Not Auburn. Other nice thing about there would’ve been a better Super matchup. Looks like Knoxville with Arkansas the potential Super matchup

Western Kentucky has a really good record (46-12)....I know absolutely nothing about how they arrived at that record.

If the goal is Omaha, this might be the best option, even better than hosting. I’d prefer Ole Miss than Tennessee, then UGA? Or home against Duke? Much better than at Vandy as the 16 seed. Let’s go win some games!
I agree with this and the mutts will be extremely lucky to get out of their regional against Duke.

My prediction is Duke wins that regional.

Ole missy and ugag are the weakest sec regional hosts so I agree with the above poster.

This might very well be a possible path to Omaha.

Now I know absolutely NOTHING about W. Kentucky except that they handled Kenn State in their conference tourney so we shall see.

Did anyone see the players reaction to the ole missy regional. Let's just say. No clapping. No celebrating. Just a complete look of disgust. EsecPN turned away from the reaction quickly!

They played Kentucky, Vanderbilt and Louisville all within a run. Best 3 seed probably in the field. Probably should’ve been a 2 seed
