Doubt it made a difference but the social media team has been desperately subtweeting the committee all day. Not a good look.

It won't be Coastal. They always send one of the Carolina ACC teams there. We've been to the ****hole, Nashville and Knoxville recently.
It's either Hattiesburg (doubt it) or Coastal (doubt it) or Bama or Old Piss.
If Bocce doesn't work out, you have pickle ball as another option.Well, sucks but as I said last night, still need to win the next game. WE have a better road record (13-6) than home record (26-9) so there's that. (Our neutral is 1-2.) As far as wanting to show the committee that they were wrong, that's a nice narrative. But the team wanted to beat Clempy too.
We probably got dumped since our RPI was 21 and we didn't do well against RPI or ELO quad 1 teams.

Regardless, I'm glad I dumped my D1 subscription two months ago and have spent less time on college baseball. There are many other entertainment choices. Bocce anyone? (tic)

Gt33 absolutely nailed it.It's all about managing sec match ups here.
Arkansas is probably going to Hattiesburg, it's the way the sec rolls. Gotta get them an easy draw. There had to be some reason Arkansas didn't get a regional, this is the only one that makes sense to me.
You'd think Uf would go to Tallahassee, but the easier match up is Coastal so that's my bet. sec is going to send Miss St to Fsu. There's a chance Uf could get Clemp.
Guessing Ok and Ky get Clemp and Unc. A&M gets sent to Ucla.
Whatever maximizes the chance of sec winning games & stacking the CWS is going to override all other considerations. Teams like GT that are any kind of threat will get that #3 with a team with one dominant pitcher mentioned above by @GTJon, decreasing the chances we win and hopefully making us use our bullpen in game 1. It's all about the sec's chances with these seedings.
A lot of good posts on this subject. All well thought out and presented. Unfortunatel, I have to agree with Richland one hundred percent. This snubbing is completely on us and was completely avoidable. No sense in complaining. Of the four potential landing places for GT, I believe we can win them all. Let’s go shock the world.Everyone upset by the apparent snub of being a host can simply go cry a river. The best ACC team Tech played they were one win vs three losses. Tech played a weak conf schedule. Don't come back and say well look at duke or Louisville, they are mid-level conf foes.Nothing to write home about beating teams u should beat.Texh has lost every meaningful game it played this year. No trophy for being mediocre.Mediocre doesn't host. Duke, Louisville, Clemson are the best conf teams we played. Going 5-4. Getting swept by Miami and losing 2 of 3 against uva were the nails.

We get cornholed a lot so that's a bad option!.We're always behind the 8 ball, I'd shy away from pocket billiards. We seem to get it in the bass enough, so bass fishing should be out. Hockey's a poor chice based on how frequently we get pucked! If Bocce doesn't work out, you have pickle ball as another option.![]()

If other conf want to keep up with the SEC they better start a heavy fundraising effort. Look at SEC baseball parks. The rusty c is ok, but it's not as nice as ugays is right now. SC as bad as they've been the last few years sales out weekend series at a park nicer than some minor league parks. To make money u got to spend. SEC baseball programs seem to have all gotten the message they want to dominate college baseball. No one is challenging them. NIL is a game we better learn fast. It isn't just football and basketball.Gt33 absolutely nailed it.
It isn't a conspiracy theory if it's the truth! I'm just saying.
If you can't see the secheat bias for what it is, you aren't paying attention or quite simply stated, you don't want to see it.
The committee will do whatever they can to increase the secheat's chances of getting as many teams to Omaha as they can.
At some point the other conferences will need to form a super conference to exclude the sec and let them play each other
Guaranteed that next year's preseason's polls will be similar to this year in that 70% of it will include teams from the secheat conference. The commentators stated on the broadcast for Tech on Thursday and Saturday that tech has a crazy amount of young talent and wondered if Hall would unretire with all that talent coming back where they should be in the top 5 to start the season.
Wait and see what happens as I wouldn't hold my breath.
Gt is right on seeding us with a 3 seed that has a really good pitcher to try and "weaken" us for the 1 seed.
Instead of just accepting this annual screw job, it's time for the school and the conference to step up and say something.
Even the unc players after their acc championship stated "how do you keep the acc regular season champions from hosting" as the acc is a very tough conference.
How come unc players state it but the administration, the commissioner, and some even in the fan base runs from it
Proves my point as to why I'm a tech fan.If other conf want to keep up with the SEC they better start a heavy fundraising effort. Look at SEC baseball parks. Not worried or concerned about other programs. Tech didn't beat the teams they needed to. Beat Auburn once, or don't loose 2 of 3 to uva at home. Dont go through a 7 game lising strak in the middle of the season. Beating the teams you should beat shouldn't be the meaning stick. I agree f$u and ucla are frauds, but i can't spend time worrying about them. What meaningful game did FSU or UCLA win?
