He's got to overcome the mental barrier of veggie eating ..
Once you do and reap the health benefits its difficult to go back to crap eating.
Good work Ken & good work Shamire.
The line was awesome against Pitt.

From all indications, he has the potential to play on Sundays. Maybe Jake Matthews could give him some idea of just how much being a high drafted offensive lineman might be worth. Cha-ching, and pass the arugula.

The take-away for me was that, if Shamire has his weights correctly, he reported last summer at 6' 7", 394 lbs. Folks, that's a considerable chunk of human being. Even with him getting down to a petite 354, we haven't had anyone that big around since Jon Cartman.

I predicted that he would end up as a starter by the end of the season, but it looks like I was wrong about that. Coach has a better feel for this stuff (thank you, Jesus) and has apparently decided that starting the experienced guy (Braun) then subbing Devine is the way to go. Given the results recently, who can argue about it? Can't wait to see his progress here next year. I predict much wailing and gnashing of teeth among opposing DTs when that happens.

Braun and Devine looks really good on paper for next year. We are getting spoiled with talented interior linemen! Uzzi, Braun, Devine, Finch, Burden...

Good to hear he is at it.I watched the tape and you could see when he was tired-not much got done. The potential is great though.

On the radio show CPJ talked about (not) converting Olinemen to Dlinemen, but I think if Shamire just fell forward, he'd blow up offenses.

Shamire has the highest NFL potential of any kid on the team right now. With guys like Smelter and Mason on the roster I don't make that statement lightly. I'm glad we have him for a while. All that extra work and diet is going to pay off.

Good point. Just wait 'til Will Bryan gets in the mix too.

Also, kudos to the young man for getting in shape (or at least trying to). I say that as I have my second oatmeal creme pie of the morning. Hey, it's oatmeal!

This kid has amazing potential. But can somebody tell me what "baopujnds" are?

<<you go home and sleep in and then you put back on three baopujnds or something like that.>>

I looked at this one for a while, but I think it's supposed to say "bad pounds"

It's a young group on the OL next season, but the depth and talent level is going to be off the charts. It's going to be solid two deep where the 2nd line could have been starters any other year during CPJ's tenure.

Devine is a redshirt freshmen. His best days are ahead of him, but he's definitely the most physically gifted of the OLs CPJ has signed.

Really looking forward to seeing JeT play behind these big uglies the next few years.
