You must not be familiar with Boston media....
Boston is an Irish town and in your face with its sports teams. Philadelphia is much the same. But news and sports are good at what they do and lord knows given what is happening we don't have enough of them left.

Part of the reason shaq ened up giving up that sack was brady was being greedy/ not confident in his arm. He had a reciever coming free in the slot at the beginning of the play but was trying to wait for that long bomb. The tackle got absolutely collapsed which removed where shaq could try to run graham off which opening up an inside cut for him.

Lebatard and Stugotz just said Shaq's days in NE are numbered now because of that play.

Not even close.

OK...so if New England lets him go, there will be other teams that will be quick to snap him up. Shaq gave up ONE sack all season (with 20 QB pressures):

19. SHAQ MASON, G, NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS – 83.0 OVERALL GRADE
PFF Elite Stat: Mason has allowed one sack all season long while logging 519 snaps in pass protection.

A dominant run blocker in college in Georgia Tech’s triple option offense, pass blocking was almost entirely a new thing to Shaq Mason when he was drafted by the Patriots. Under the tutelage of Dante Scarneccia, he has become one of the better guards in the league. His run blocking is obviously his strength, and coming out of that option system he has rare leverage and the ability to drive people off the line. In pass blocking, he has surrendered just one sack this season, but 20 total pressures.

Shaq is also considered one of the best run blockers in the the league due to his ability to pull and get out in space. Very few OLs are as athletic and quick as Shaq.

New England is notoriously cheap with their players. If NE lets him go, they would probably be doing Shaq a favor and he would get a better contract elsewhere.

If the Pats get rid of a top 5 player at his position (as a OG he’s indisputably top 10, so with 2 OG positions that makes him ~top 5 at RG) because of giving up a single sack in the super bowl, that’s an incredibly dumb move. The fact that Belichick has singled Shaq out for praise on a few occasions, which he rarely does, makes me think it’s highly unlikely they move him.
