Kind of surprised Nealy got waived. He was in on a lot of snaps in their preseason games...at least they appear to have given him a realistic shot to stick. He may get practice squaded, assuming no one else picks him up.

Smelter is on the NFI (non football injury) list and will miss the first 6 weeks of the season if he stays on itIs there any expectation for Smelter to be ready to play this year?
Right, so my question is, are they expecting to ever take him off for this year? He should be getting close to 100% physically.Smelter is on the NFI (non football injury) list and will miss the first 6 weeks of the season if he stays on it
There have been tweets they like what is going on with his rehab but still aren't willing to play him right away. They have between week 6 and 11 to decide whether or not to put him on IR or cut him. Consensus is they wouldn't cut himRight, so my question is, are they expecting to ever take him off for this year? He should be getting close to 100% physically.
Is that every week or just regular season game weeks?6600 a week for a player signed to the practice squad this year. I bet "Q" would take that if given the opportunity. It's almost like a red shirt year to develop a player they think can help in the future.

Isaiah Johnson had 3 tackles and 1 "QB HTS". What is it?
