I went back over the last decade to 2008. Per 247, here are the other 4-star or higher QBs from Georgia:I was quoting Rivals. The Brice kid at Clemson was one on there also. Don't recall the other. I'm one of the few on here that believe we can be what Stanford has been. Clemson is like USC in the Leinart/Bush days. We can't be that, but we could give them a tough run like Stanford under Harbaugh/Shaw.
If you don't think that's a number Auburn boosters would put up in a heartbeat for something they wanted, you don't know Auburn.Don't see how the financials would ever work with Gus. 7 million per year and 30 million buyout. Those Auburn boosters must be desperate for this to even become a rumor. lol
Calvin Johnson should have been a five star. Someone in his mold might be our first. A 5 star from Georgia, with a burning desire for a top shelf degree and desire to stay close to home. I wonder how many of those are out there... Hmmm...
There is a report out there that the buyout would be waived were we to take him.Don't see how the financials would ever work with Gus. 7 million per year and 30 million buyout. Those Auburn boosters must be desperate for this to even become a rumor. lol
I went back over the last decade to 2008. Per 247, here are the other 4-star or higher QBs from Georgia:
1. Deshaun Watson (Clemson)
2. Brice Ramsey (Georgia)
3. Josh Dobbs (Tennessee)
4. Anthony Jennings (LSU)
5. Greyson Lambert (UVA-Transferred to UGA)
6. Blake Sims (Alabama)
7. Zach Mettenberger (Georgia).
So that's 15 in a decade. Of those 15, 12 went to factories. While none of those guys seem to be as good as Trevor Lawrence, Tech will still have to beat out Alabama, LSU, Clemson, Georgia, and Tennessee to get QBs.
Of the three that did not go to factories (Pass, Lambert, and I'll give you Mills at Stanford), Pass looks like a bust, Lambert was a bust, and Mills is buried on the depth chart at Stanford behind at least one QB that is the same class as him.
Just noting that it's possible that Tech runs a passing offense and doesn't get a 4-star or higher QB for a decade due to competition from factories.

Lol...Wes Durham will NOT let you use his name to advance BS:
Good question. And speaking of questions, has Calvin gotten his top shelf degree yet?

Tennessee should hire Geoff.Geoff,Geoff,Geoff
GEOFF!Geoff,Geoff,Geoff
Just presenting evidence that highly ranked Georgia QBs aren't shunning Tech for Arkansas State or Tulsa. Interpret the information as you see fit.Why even try...we should give up.
I took the under bad bet@bobongo promised me a hire by page 212. Someone better start getting serious - that's only 32 pages or about 15 minutes away.
I believe Collins would have us in trouble with the NCAA
If he has done it once. He has done it more.I dunno all the details but if it's one incident from over a decade ago, I wouldn't disqualify someone over that.
