I really like how mentally and physically tough we are being coached, like the players I now feel when we bring our "A" game we can beat anyone. We keep recruiting and heading in the direction we're heading and the future is really bright for GTFB. I truly feel that and seeing others around me also becoming believers.
Am real interested to see what we do in the portal for next year.

Still trying to cope with the uga loss and after they beat Texas last night it’s even harder.

What are some positive thoughts you all are using to get past the loss?
Know that no matter ....we whipped uga's butt in their house for 55 1/2 minutes.
Just cause the SeCheat Conference and its officials decided to steal it from us.....so be it.
I watched the game live and many replays and tech absolutely smoked uga. A dawg friend of mine said "you guys kicked our butts" & "we played terrible"....
I said the terrible comment was just an excuse. We play that game 10 times....we do the same exact thing and win 6 or 7 of them.

That's the bright spot. In the past, it would feel like absolute luck and we'd only compete with them 2 out of 10 times.
Guys the future is bright. If that is the best the sec has to offer, than we should smoke Vandy....
After last night, Tech is clearly the 2nd best team in the Secheat conference. Possibly 1st.

Cheer up fellas. We out classed them. We out coached them. We outplayed them. and best of all We were MORE PHYSICAL THEN THE MUTTS! I love this!!! Luck and sec refs put aside.
I could care less about the mutts....I'm liking what Key is doing here at Tech.

Locked up Key & Batt with long term deals. Now go fix baseball. Sorry Hall but its time to retire.

GO JACKETS!!!

I'd honeslty rather us put money int basketball than baseball. We need good revenue sports. Baseball is not one of those. Basketball needs lots of $$ for NIL. to grab the 1-2 and dones and fight off nike shoe deals.

This is mine. First the first time since the GOL days, we have shown the last two games that we can go toe to toe with them. No longer do ween to hope for miracles, multiple turnovers, etc. We don't look out manned physically. Or intimidated. So the last game was not our only shot. It's going to be a war annually again. Our younger fans here have never seen. It's glorious.
We went toe-to-toe with u[sic]ga 2013-2016. Each of those games were 1 score games and we won 2 of them. Also 2008-2010.

I look at it this way. I would rather have dwags make it deep into the playoffs (but not get the natty) which validates our showing against them more than to have a bust like F$U after we beat them. A spiral down happened to #1 UVA in 1990 after we beat them and a few other times this happened that I can't remember off the top of my head.

If we fast forward a year and let's say we beat them next year, it'll be such a sweet revenge, poetic justice if you will. This happened in 97/98 seasons.

50, I was where you are for several days after the game. Now I'm feeling very good about our situation. Start with the many good points already made. If the Dogs are a good measuring stick, remember we beat them in every statistical category, especially rushing. That usually means our O line beat their D line.

We had the best recruiting year since 2007. A lot of people saw our games against FSU, Miami, and UGA. Recruiting should get better still.

King, Philo, and Haynes are coming back plus a lot of other talent.

Next year's schedule is easier by far than other recent schedules.

If we play to our ability, have better placekicking, and limit mistakes, we could be in playoffs next year.

We still have a bowl game to be played. No other game can ease the pain of losing to Georgia, but ending on a winning note will help.
We outcoached the mutts and the canes. The noles too, but i'm not sure that one matters anymore.

Our recruiting is really improving - and that matters more than many of us want to acknowledge.

Our defense has become...dare I say, good?

The staff that Coach Key has put together is unbelievably good. Both Buster and Santucci are great and have shown that they're worth every penny. The future is very bright! I know that CBK will continue to dig us out of the deep, dark hole that TFG took us to.

100-0 All Red is replaced by UGA 8 OT.

NOW we are on course to actually beat the cxxx out of lessor teams while giving young guns playing time.

Please keep the qb that played and please call the same game plan as the UGA 8 OT.
Against top 10 team - best performance in history. I
300 yds passing w 2TD no interceptions, 110 yds rushing 3 td , 1 fumble from questionable hit.

I had a coach at a powerful ATL metro HS praise our current coaching staff and saying they can come talk to the kids anytime they want. He said that was not the case with the former staff.

In my 62 years of watching COFH, it's obvious that aside from a few years that we were both in the sec, this biz of sec/acc officials has not, is not, and will not work in the future. The $ and press like espn have become too big for the pressure on crews to ignore. No, it's not payola deals, it's pressure. The B10 is the only conference that has big game experience to turn to. A LOT of cFB execs, coaches, and fans want the big rivalry games to have officials without a dog(or dawg) in the fight (even including uga's own OC Mike Bobo). Fridays' game may be a case of sour grapes, but history shows it doesn't work for either team. Go back and look at who is pushing who on the critical PI call with less than 2 min to go. Not to mention the fumble that wasn't a fumble in the 3rd qtr. yet our guy ended up with the ball while standing up, and I won't get into the targeting with King's head jerking backwards.

Dear J.Batt and Cabrera, get it fixed. If uga can demand sec officials on their home field, it can be done.
