Sounds reasonable to me. Careful what you wish for.
I don’t know how many players are in the portal willingly, but a lot aren’t. It looks like most of those “cut” players don’t find a chair when the music stops. Since the portal goes both ways, that means that FIU, East Carolina, Temple, UMass, and all those MAC and Mountain West schools are saying “no thanks”.

There was a time when the P4 conferences were signing HS kids with a promise of 4-year scholarships. I guess that went the way wringer washing machines.

Fair. But that’s the system that’s been created unfortunately.

Kirvonte had a pretty bad knee injury at the beginning of his 2nd season at GT. Maybe I'm wrong, but someone told me transferring didn't turn out well for him.

Granted he transferred to avoid playing for the goof so that might have not been a bad call.

Clearly we will be top 15 worthy on offense.

I think or secondary is going to be good too.

Front 6 or 7. Sigh. Its always something here isn’t it?

Shhhh… athletes don’t value such things. Toe the line bro! Free agency pay for play is where it’s at. Hush up and love it.

In all seriousness, we don’t hear a peep about scholarships anymore. I’m sure they are still given but if the new system undercuts that, it’s a problem. For every 1 athlete reaping the full benefits of the free agency bidding war they’ve created, there are 100 relying on these “worthless” education commitments.
