I was never overwhelmed with Whipple. Until this year, Pickett's stats were pretty similar to Sims. With Pitt, UVA and BC, we ran into a buzzsaw of senior QBs with multiple years playing experience. Not that our secondary wasn't still God awful, but the schedule didn't help. Imagine if we caught Miami before Van Dyke got warmed up or BC when Jurkovec was still out. We'd have gotten 5 wins for sure. We played bad, but nothing went in our favor either.

what is it about running a 5'6" 165lb RB into the line on 3rd and 1 only to be tackled behind the LOS, repeatedly, that doesn't impress you?
