On the video it appears that the ball is loose, or at least he does not have control of it, before he reaches into the endzone with it.
And it looks to me that in addition the ball is short of the EZ by a foot or so. Refs might be getting a bad rap on this one. (I was once rooked into umping home plate for a LL game. You want to raise your blood pressure? Let some 10-11 year olds, including one who bats crosshanded, swings at pitches over his head and is afraid of the ball, loudly question your vision while his daddy in the stands questions other parts of you. Then figure out a way to lower it. In short, they ain't paid enough.)

I kind of disagree. The game was officiated. Peach lost. The lesson these players are being taught is that if at first you don't win, whine. The lesson they should learn is that the world is an imperfect place. Not to mention that the video itself disproves their appeal.

There's grown-*** men on this board still whining about calls in UGA games a decade ago.
