Geesh. Thanks, but that is terrible news for Connor. I am hopeful that Williams will be okay and that Clemson will err on the side of caution with him. I think Dabo is a good guy so I expect him to do that. Probably need to add the Notre Dame RB since that was mentioned in another thread.

If more of our opponents' players get injured, this thread might get stickied. I am knocking on wood for our own team. I feel really bad for James Connor, this could have been another huge year for him.

That's terrible news about Connor. I was looking forward to seeing him play in person. I hope he recovers and comes back next year; I think it's early enough for him to qualify for a medical redshirt too. I'm sure Clemson's staff will be extremely careful about Williams too. That kind of injury is nothing to trifle with.

I always want us to play other teams at their best. After last weekend … well, not likely.

The Clemson injury was really strange to me. They must pad their goal posts with concrete.

I told my wife I would expect that next weekend the goal posts to have additional padding. They appear to be unique in that they are box shaped, not cylinders--who knows what is behind the pads.

He is a Junior (no RS) according to their roster this year so he had to stay at least through this season before declaring for the draft.
