They stuck the students in the nosebleed seats. Maybe they’re worried we’ll rush the field after we beat another top 15 team.
We were up there against TN in 2016 too. Upper endzone, section 324-326 IIRC. Unfortunately it'll likely be the same in 2025.

Did y'all have to pay, or were tickets included in the package/available to claim?

This game is included in our season ticket package thankfully.

Apparently some students are in the 120s and others are stuck up in the 320s/340s. It looks like it was totally random. I’ll take it as an opportunity to sit down and enjoy the view (and the cheap food!!!)

It's not about taking deep shots, it's about completing some deep shots which we have not done well so far this season.
On Rivals , kelly compared passing stats 23 to 24, left to middle to right; 5 yds less 10 yds, mid 20 yds , long.

Stats =
Number of attempt = way down for long and mid.
Up in short right.

Number of completions down in all but up short. Long seemed down more than attemps
Number of interceptions = down to zero from various locations.

I hope key is playing conservative offense while defense gets better.

What time gates opening?

Q: When do gates open for the football game?

A: Mercedes-Benz Stadium gates will open 90 minutes prior to kickoff for the Oct. 19 game versus Notre Dame (2 p.m. for 3:30 p.m. kickoff).

What would the predictions be if:

Tech stops Syracuse on 3rd and 10 and King leads us to a win
King complete the pass to Rutherford instead of the scoop 6

So those two plays could easily have us 7-0. If we are there is Notre Dame still “better than we are?”

I get it. You are what you are, but I think sometimes perception is skewed by the records.

Notre Dame got beat by a Northern Illinois team that lost the Buffalo and NC State. They gave up 24 to Louisville, who isn’t exactly lighting it up on O.

They’re probably the equivalent of a middle tier ACC team with a lower number in front of their name. It’s a very winnable game. I think we will come to play and get em.

Heading down now. Go Jackets!!!

"The 1978 game was delayed for about five minutes when Georgia Tech fans behind the Notre Dame bench threw mackerel and whiskey bottles at the Irish players. Coach Dan Devine took his team to the center of the field until order was restored." --- not our finest moment.

Their offense is probably equivalent to middle of the ACC but their defense is probably the best in the conference. It’s going to be tough to win this, especially without Haynes King.
