I believe he’s already been replaced, just waiting to arrive at GT and bring salvation to our defenseOur defense could use divine intervention, but I doubt he will leaving his current job. It pays too much.

So we’re getting Francis as DC
Lighten up, Francis!
Lighten up, Francis!
You know many of us are thinking the same thing!
One of the rumors that was going around is Scherrer is looking to step away from an on field role and would prefer being an analyst. I think he's at the point he wants to have more time with family. The analyst role would keep him employed and around football but significantly reduce his weekly working hours and nearly eliminate traveling. What are the odds it’s Sherrer?
Why do we think that? One of the rumors that was going around is Scherrer is looking to step away from an on field role and would prefer being an analyst. Because we would have announced a role for him one way or another at this point presumably? Why do we think that?
I mentioned some quotes in an AJC article, but these rumors are way beyond what was reported there.Because we would have announced a role for him one way or another at this point presumably?
Why? they haven’t announced a role for anyone else on the current defensive coaching staffBecause we would have announced a role for him one way or another at this point presumably?
They are probably going to announce everything at once. DC, coaches, and who will be coach what position. Why? they haven’t announced a role for anyone else on the current defensive coaching staff
Yes exactlyThey are probably going to announce everything at once. DC, coaches, and who will be coach what position.
Good for him; he seems like he's a really good coach, so having his experience is another net positive for the staff. Perhaps that was the plan all along - it would make a ton of sense and explain why Key wouldn't feel rushed to make a decision on the next DC.One of the rumors that was going around is Scherrer is looking to step away from an on field role and would prefer being an analyst. Yes he is hiring the DC. Also, Iowa reported back in the beginning of December that they were hiring a new OC. They still haven't hired one yet.Bama replaced the Goat in two days.
Are we sure Key is really looking for a DC?
this is beyond taking way too long.
trusting the process but, come on man!
Santucci it is!!Yes he is hiring the DC. Also, Iowa reported back in the beginning of December that they were hiring a new OC. They still haven't hired one yet.
Quick to fire and slow to hire is CBK way of doing things. If you are slow hire and get the right man for the job. Then the quick to fire should not come to past.
Also Bama can hire anyone they want to a certain piont with a phone call. They have more resources than we do. So you are comparing apples to oranges!
