Ok, and the 2015 team could’ve easily went went 10-2. But that team wasn’t “lucky” and ended up 3-9. All I’m trying to say and get across is that a play or 2 here or there can drastically affect the outcome of a game. If you’re on the positive side it can lead to a win, or if you’re on the negative side it can lead to a loss. My original post in this argument was to this:
We aren’t anywhere close to being VERY lucky after beating Duke. What I’m trying to say is that if we were VERY lucky we could be 5-1. We should be 4-2, and if we didn’t catch some breaks against Duke, we could be 2-4. As it stands though, we are 3-3. I don’t in any way, shape, or form believe we deserve to be 5-1, I just think some people need to step back and look at how close we actually are to being 5-1. Losing to NIU is inexcusable, and Clemson did everything they could to give us that game but we came out with Ls both times. Hypothetically though, if we caught the same breaks we did against Duke, we would be 5-1, which would put us in a drastically different position than where we are currently.
