WE actually stop a 3rd and 5 pass short of a first down.

A 10 yard cushion is even better.Best way to cover 3rd and 5 is with a safe 7 yard cushion.
Well, to whet your appetite, here are the recruits rated 4* by at least 1 service who will be on campus this fall, just on defense:
* TK Chimedza (ESPN)
* Justice Dingle (Rivals)
* Jay King (Rivals, 247)
* Gentry Bonds (Rivals)
* Bruce Jordan-Swilling (Rivals, 247, ESPN)
* Kaleb Oliver (Rivals)
* Tre' Swilling (Rivals, ESPN)
* Jaytlin Askew (ESPN)
* Jaquan Henderson (ESPN)
* Anree Saint-Amour (ESPN)
That's 10 right there, just on defense.
It works better if you do not rush the QBA 10 yard cushion is even better.
First of all, thanks for pointing this out. Any chance Simmons was a 4* anywhere? His offer list seems to indicate he was good enough to be in 4* territory.
Would not surprise me to see Charlie Thomas moved to OLB in CNW's scheme:
He's enrolling early I believe. He's got the frame to add some weight, and has the requisite versatility and speed to play OLB in the new scheme.
Definitely going to be interesting to see how it shakes out with certain guys. Particularly the safeties and and linebackers as I think there's going to be a lot of players with new roles. (Looking at you Jalen Johnson and AJ Gray...)
Sorry guys, I was referring to Lamont Simmons. The transfer from USCw. I thought he might have been overlooked in the star chart since he didn't sign with us originally.No. He wasn't even a high 3* athlete out of high school. I think a lot of schools jumped on him a bit too late to matter.
You ldft out several steps after getting back 10p yards,A 10 yard cushion is even better.

Well, 6 of them haven’t seen the field yet...7 if you don’t count special teams as well.So based on talent, should we have / have had a top 40 D?
It may not be easy to figure out, but how does this compare to our ACC competitors in the middle of the pack? (Duke, UVa, Wake, VT etc). We know the answer compared to Clemson, FSU, Miami.
