Now time for VT - Who is more desperate?

VT comes in on a 3 game losing streak with their NCAA hopes on the line. They were looking OK for the dance before consecutive losses to BC, Miami and FSU. First 2 really hurt. They cannot afford more losses to the bottom half of the ACC. That's us.

We will find out now how tight and focused this team is as pretty much any hope of post season is gone. Do they continue to play hard - and to their credit with a couple of exceptions early on they have played hard. Or do they start to reflect their diminished status.

VT is another perimeter focused team - even more than ND. So the same they will beat you with 3's and drives versus our playing in a phone booth around the hoop. Unless of course some one on our side breaks out the shooting stick.

No line yet but it won't favor the good guys. Time for the few and proud to keep watching.

Kenpom's model has GT by 3. Vegas likely discounts our home court advantage this year due to previous results and sets it at GT by 1.5.

This has been a disappointing year. Let's rescue what's left of it.

They’ve been doing this type of stuff since pastner got here. If it works, it’s better than an empty student section. If they could figure out how to get season ticket holders to show up, they should win a Nobel prize or something.

Ive been to most home games and the turnout has been pretty solid for the most part. Students not so much (without some big name or giveaways), but it’s still better than their turnout for football.
