New Uniforms

I like the idea of letting the team decide what their uniforms look like. If you don't like them, wear an older jersey. The kids are the one representing on the field, they should choose what they look like. We may not agree, but too bad for us.

As for Russell, they don't do the color schemes (although they screw up the shade of gold), but they could sure use some help with the actual design. Give the kids some options they'd really like to wear.

They can go flashy ala Oregon or pay tribute to tradition ala Notre Dame. I personally would like to see their take on tradition for us. Have them redo the helmet from the throwback uniforms so many of us love.

Warning: there is an all chrome UGA helmet at the end. Those with weak stomachs should either look away or have something that can catch vomit close at hand.

Yes.The gold pants and helmet are very close to the traditional Tech away uniforms. But lose the checker pattern down the sides. It's supposed to be black as well.

IronJacket, can you make a white jersey, gold pants, gold helmet version? I think the black ones (not the prison stripes one) are the bomb. Return of Roof, black unis, and high intensity defense....I'm getting excited just thinking about it!

If they allowed us to like something 100 times, I'd like this. Nothing Tech has worn before or since has equaled this look, imho.

The black unis look too much like Wake Forest. Our '85 Black and gold combo unis look like the Pittsburg Steelers.

Now, now, Get your mind right. It's Wake and the Steelers look too much like Tech. Tech had the uniform pattern first; they copied us.

And no wonder. The black uniforms look great!

The bowl game uniform was great. Absolutely love the helmet. Creat a gold version also.

I definitely don't understand why we haven't seen the throwbacks more.

The "Calvin Jersey" is my all-time favorite. The White hat, the shade of gold, the bold piping on the pants - it's a great look!
