Did you watch the games? Both those players were off. I could see it with my own eyes. King was not reacting as quickly as normal and Haynes acted like he couldn’t make quick cuts.
Haynes King was injured a little at a time beginning early on. By the time we played Dook he couldn’t throw overhand further than about 10 yards.

Yep, he hurt his shoulder in the FSU game and kept getting re-injured after that. J Haynes has been hurt off and on all season. He made some cuts in the Miami game I was afraid I was never going to see again this season.

Is the Tech game now meaningless for UGA, in terms of making the playoffs? Even if they lose to Tech….if they win the SECCG they are in…
If they win the SEC CG they are in, even with 3 losses, and we will be the only team who has beaten three top 10 teams, I do believe.

King and Haynes played in both of those games those games. Against Syracuse King threw 39 passes and ran 6 times. Haynes ran 11 times and caught 5 passes. Who was hurt that game?

Against Louisville King threw 32 passes and ran 14 times. Haynes ran 12 times and caught 1 pass. Again who was hurt in that game?
lmao the absolute cognitive dissonance to say "Drones and Tuten played, but they were both hurt" to "King and Haynes played so they must not be hurt" is mind boggling, and continuing to try to minimize what Tech did or could have done post after post after post is the work of someone with a serious loser mentality.

After yesterday’s craziness, yes.

This was not a reasonably foreseeable result IMO since it required multiple double digit underdogs winning outright along with other upsets.

I don’t care. I do care that this becomes a distracting factor and helps our chances of winning outright.

I watched. They played the full game. We have seen 5 games where our run game got stuffed. Those were 2 of them.

So basically you are saying King has been significantly HURT since the GAST Game. Against Syracuse King was 29 of 39 for 296 yards and 1 TD. He ran 6 times for 67 yards and 2 TDs. Your memory seems fuzzy as that was one of King's best games this year. Haynes had an average day. The real issue was the score was 31-14 half wy thru the 4th quarter. Our defense was shredded.

Louisville game - King was 21 of 32 for 312 yards and no TDs. He ran 14 times for 56 yards and a TD. That was a typical King game this season. Maybe he has been hurt all year. we will likely never know. He played basically as he has played all year in both of those losses.

We had a better chance to win that game than the Syracuse game. Still we were not the better team either game.

Funny thing I'd never considered: I joked to Brent Key that last night's game had to be bad for his blood pressure. He said he actually wears an Apple Watch to monitor it during the game. Avg last night was 132 and got up to 165 in final min!

Asked Brent Key about his assistants not allowing the heat to be turned on in the press box last night. "Damn right," he said. During their Thu walk-thru it was pouring rain. "No one even suggested doing it in the indoor." He added that @CoachDanMullen's getting soft in his cushy TV gig.

Players play hurt all the time. Pretending it only matters that Tech players are hurt is foolish. Your point is pointless! Many on this Board actually think King will be healthy for the Georgia Game. There needs to be some rational thinking here. It would be Great if King was fully healthy for the Georgia Game. Not possible. Of course others say King has been hurt since the FSU game. That is possible. He still played and was productive thru the UNC game. Did it impact GT, sure. Do injuries to opponent players impact their teams, of course. Injuries are part of the game. They are not excuses.

If you are saying King and Haynes were both fully functioning for both games we will just have to disagree. Much more I could say but arguing is pointless.

I'm surprised that Fusile graded out decently. I made a point to watch the left side of our line and saw regular penetration getting into the backfield. This team has heart and grit and it can be challenging to hang in there with them while they compete, but this team is so much better than the product of the previous coach. I expect internal competition will make us even better next year. Go JACKETS!
To hell with georgia.
#55 keeps grading out low and he's on that side.

Not sure about that. Not all teams have injuries to virtually all of their key starters. Please correct me if I am wrong but which top 10 teams in the country have had starting quarterbacks, running backs, receivers and linebackers all hobbled this season?

Yes, I believe we need more depth. Yes, I believe the better teams have it. Yes, I believe the team that started against FSU was a deeper, stronger team than the one we have now. Yes, I believe this team at full strength could have won 9 games. Yes, I’m still happy with the season.
Depth? How about a true FR QB coming in to win the game.?
