Pitt will graduate 6 from the two deep on offense and defense (44).

A Fullback? When did they feature a Fullback. Are you confusing it with BBack? And a FULLback.
Navy looks great.

Also on their web site roster they call the ab the sb (split?) . The bb is called the fullback. Not sure if you're being sarcastic...so I'll answer your Q as if you're really asking.
Navy lined up in the "I" quite a few times with a full fledged "Fullback".

Please cleanse my eyes I have seen heresy!
Shotgun snap to qb who fakes a pass and runs 10 yds utm for td.
Every single starter on Navy's offense was a senior, except for one receiver, who is a junior. Just spitballin' here, but may - just maybe! - that had something to do with their success.
Quick Google search showed they started 7 seniors and three juniors in 2014. http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools.../depth_chart_non_event/2014-Navy-FB-Depth.pdfIt's interesting. The announcer said Navy has a 3 game bowl winning streak. That means Navy has been good enough to win their last game the past 3 years, but also won enough to get to 3 straight bowls. Of course, a little easier to do that with Navy's schedule, but you have to think the system Coach KN is running at Navy is helping to transition new players in as Navy obviously hasn't been a senior laden team the past three years. I don't have time to look up the class disparity of their teams, but you have to think they've had some young teams the last 3 years.
2013: 9-4
2014: 8-5
2015: 11-2
Went 8-5 in 2012. Also have to give credit to Ivin Jasper, who some have considered one of the best option QB coaches of last 10 years. Look at his track record with QBs. Ricky Dobbs and Keenan Reynolds, then also consider what he's done with the offense. Pretty impressive stuff from Jasper.
You can definitely say that CKN has taken what CPJ built at Navy, and taken it another step further.

Their 2011 team went 5-7.
Look, I'm not saying there aren't things we can't do, or that Johnson is some kind of football deity, but I don't think anyone here has come even close to isolating the variable, and I do think Johnson is a helluva coach. I guess my point is that experience matters, certainly more than I thought five months ago.
