It actually does on this play. QB and BB read the tackle. If they don't read it correctly then a fumble is most likely to occur. TB missed the DT slanting down which would have been his key to keep the ball and follow ZL through the hole. Look at the play and you can see the ZL isn't looking for the ball. He's trying to get to second level to block the LB. The center is firing off the ball to get to the second level to block the other LB. He was a little late getting there and both LB collided with Laskey in the hole. The good thing is most of the night TB made the correct read and positive yardage was gained. This is a excellent example of a play posted in slow motion to dissect and talk about. IMO this is why it isn't often a freshman can come in a play in this offense and be successful, especially on the OL, QB and BB. JMO
