How ‘bout just laughed at heartily? They haven't won the ACC since 1980. Whoever believes they are a football power on par with the $EC needs to be tared and featherd and ridden out of town on a rail.

That was Dean Smith mostly. I am of the belief that INC would never threaten their university’s accreditation over football. They absolutely would over basketball. Many of the posters who think Mack is a fine and wonderful gentleman forget that he was one of the originators and facilitators of the fraudulent AA studies classes that were blatant cheating to keep football and basketball players eligible.
The same. NFL retreads coaches faster than CFB....Is that the same guy that is/was the Falcons head coach?
Back in the day (70's-80's), we offered easy courses colloquially known as Shocks, Rocks, Socks and Crocks for Jocks. Many of the posters who think Mack is a fine and wonderful gentleman forget that he was one of the originators and facilitators of the fraudulent AA studies classes that were blatant cheating to keep football and basketball players eligible.
It was used by all UNC sports. The WBB team was using the AFAM classes. Got Hachell in trouble and she got another year or two before she was let go. I know a kid that was on the baseball team. Asked him if he took any AFAM classes. Answer: 3. It was pervasive in all sports to help keep them eligible. To be honest, these college athletes are trying to balance athletic practice and travel with academics. It was unethical in my opinion but understand why and how it happened. Doesn't make it right though. That was Dean Smith mostly. I am of the belief that INC would never threaten their university’s accreditation over football. They absolutely would over basketball.
All eyes on Indiana. Not to say it can't happen, but I cannot think of a single basketball blue blood that became a perennial power in football. I am sure I am missing one, but not coming up with it.
