Figured since this was a Leo B thread
He and Zach have developed quite the chemistry…not a bad throw for a “running qb” I’d say. A lot forget Zach was an Elite 11 finalist finishing in the top 11 in a group that included Quin Ewers, Malik Murphy, Drew Allar, Cade Clubnik, etc. And all these guys are starting. Zach will be the first to tell you, he’s still learning the intricate parts to Qb mechanics simply due to him playing in an offense that some games he never threw a pass, and they only spent 10 minutes one day a week at practice working on it. But he’s working with a Qb coach that he’s even meeting with during the season. This guy has worked with Burrow, Stroud, Levis, the list goes on.
But I cannot even begin to tell you how happy we are for Leo. Kid is a fighter.
