Perhaps, but that's not how most would interpret "Left it in the holster vs VT. He should've played that game...". If he meant the whole game without playing Pyron at all, why not just say that?

Can’t believe you guys are taking a uga article quoting KQ for gospel. I don’t mean to denigrate him, but I don’t have high faith in KQ connections to the program under J Batt, and the coaching search is a big reason why.

I don’t believe we would not play Philo to preserve his RS at this point if he’s available and ready. If he’s hurt, then that’s another story. If King is 100%, same deal. But not even in that article does it mention him transferring, and it’s some major FUD to infer that.

I agree with you. Realistically, does Philo sit behind King for a year though? He technically could transfer and start next year with a good NIL deal in place.

This is good to hear. I sat near his dad at a recent game and he spoke highly of the program. This was also during the part of the season where he wasn’t even playing yet…

I believe I'll let CBK, the kid and his family(if needed) decide what is right based on their complete knowledge of whatever is involved. Right now I'm not in the mode of having to beat UGA at any and all cost, maybe I get that way in a couple years, I'm watching us build a bigtime program for the future and that is more important to me, especially when I don't know all the info.

Then couldn’t Philo just take his RS next year as he sits behind King again? None of this makes sense, and I’m very skeptical that any of it is true. I’ve got a feeling Philo plays tonight

Kelly has been saying that King has been unjured almost whole year. Even though King could complete sideline passes, had thrown a good number of deep passss, kelly said he was so inaccurate that he was therefore limiting the ol and Faulkner to be ultra conservative.
Wierd that king can make quick throws , long throws with zero interceptions.

Seems that King has been trying to hold the team
together by doing therapy and not surgery till mandentory. Hopefully it is shown to be a good plan at 630 cst.

Best plan is we keep a strong qb room and Philo matures to take us to the CFP.
