Yep. And the guarantee most players want is that they play when the game is on the line. I don't know of a single player on Tech's roster who doesn't want to play tonight. Philo included.

You’re correct. Sharps were on GT early. Now with the lower line, the handle is pretty much 50/50.

The books don’t really seem to have a preference in this game and appear to want balanced action. They have a lot of exposure if the dwags win between 18-20 points. But they should be okay since we’ll win 23-20.

I hope Philo does redshirt but I think he’ll play and burn an entire season because our coaches played him against VMI. It was idiotic to play him earlier to put us in this position.

You guys talking about the portal and NIL do realize that a small percentage of players transfer, right. Just because we talk about them over the guys that stay doesn’t mean every goo player will portal out. We lost guys like Gibbs because we sucked. We no longer suck and Philo has the the keys to the kingdom. He ain’t leaving.

Yep. Prince Avenue is very welcoming of Key. Word spreads and it’s a big reason we flipped Garrett. Kid in 8th grade Gavin Hollum will be the next big QB out of Prince. Already wants to play for Key. My contact is his neighbor

Idiotic to play him?? We had 2 healthy QBs above him on the depth chart at the time. The coaches probably felt that was his 1 game to get playing time this year and then **** happened. I guess the coaches need your fortune telling ability to see into the future as to what will happen with injuries.

Makes no sense! Why use his 4th game against NC State? There's no guarantee Philo will stay at Tech. Play him!!!

Unless Haynes King is 100% with his shoulder, and can throw as well as he was throwing before the injury, I think we should play Philo.

Screw the redshirt. We need to win this game, and we can't do it without a real passing game.

Nope - you play to Win the Game. If Philo gives us a better chance and we lose anyway so be it!

Had King stayed reasonably healthy Philo would not have played in any game less the VMI game. Had Pyron stayed healthy Philo would not have played in any game less the VMI Game. Giving a deserving player in the only likely game he would play all season was not stupid! Good grief. Revisionist history is on the lose on the Swarm!

Coaches have always played the guys who give them the best chance to win. Even before the Portal, redshirt decisions were never about giving up wins today for wins down the road. That has never been the calculus.

The teams above gt - the starters are all healthy all season - the back ups and freshman are un known.
Offseason and spring and then fall camp are where promotions occur.
