I don't blame anyone for taking their shot at the NFL. You've got to be confident in your abilities.
Plus, the CFL isn't a guaranteed ticket to a financially feasible life plan. With the average salary around 80k, rookie starting salary around 50k, you'd have to become a star in order to do well for yourself. Starting QBs can make 250-400k, which ain't nothing to spit at, though! I could see JeT being a starting QB pretty quickly, but only after he chases the NFL dream first.
Yeah. But maybe he can't catch? Line 'em up and you can use his arm on trick plays.Slot guy
I think even by today's standards, making 50-80k per year as a 22 year old is pretty darn good. If he makes it in the NFL I could see him more as a return guy or maybe even a 3rd down receiver, slot guy.
Something else to think about is Canada's very high tax rate. That's an even better starting income when you figure they're not paying off a pile of student loans. Those things are no joke, they severely impact the effective income of just about every kid coming out of college.
That bites... It's during the ND vs GT basketball game.tomorrow @ 1:30 CT
Curious as to why his name shows as Thomas Justin. All other players have last name showings in standard format, ex. Bob Smith. The roster has him listed as DC so yes
Maybe because he was a VERY late add-on. Kind of puts him behind the 8-ball against the other players. Oh well, IIWII.Curious as to why his name shows as Thomas Justin. All other players have last name showings in standard format, ex. Bob Smith.

JT would be an interesting undrafted free agent.Falcons have been placing a huge emphasis on "speed" I would love to see them pick him up and find a place for him!
Maybe an Antwan Randle ElJT would be an interesting undrafted free agent.
He sort of reminds me of a former Atlanta Falcon WR Bert Emanuel who was a quarterback at Rice.Maybe an Antwan Randle El
