This ignores their touchdown at the end of the first half, and it ignores the fact that they only needed three points, not seven. Had they needed a touchdown, I’d agree with you.

It doesn't ignore the fact that they went for it on fourth down. Doesn't matter how many points they needed on a miracle fourth down conversion. Had they been in FG range, do you think they go for it on fourth down with that little clock left?
