The other LARGE factor not being mentioned is the OFFENSIVE LINE.If we don't have a big improvement over last yr ,all this hype for great running back success is a hope and dream. We probably will be better but we did just lose our best OL and injuries can kill more improvement.

What’s the bigger jump, high school to college or college to pro?


That is a great question. I will not pretend to know, but it may be different for different guys and positions. A lot of guys at 17-18 are physically just not strong enough yet to play big boy college football, where they might be "strong" enough or big enough at 21-22 to play NFL, but not have the other required items, such as speed, agility, accuracy, acumen, etc. So, very interested in what answers you get on this question.

Not disagreeing w/ you, but when we signed Gibbs my thought was that he has the perfect skill set for a spread team with an OL in rebuild mode. He’s so adept at setting up defenders in space, and he’s likely to encounter a fair amount of free defenders this year.
