Why not start with the Twitter profile that posted it? Also, look at the actual post. It links a post that says USCe has interviewed their preferred candidate and are in negotiations. It says that J Batt interviewed with USCe. It does not say that J Batt is the preferred candidate. It does not say that J Batt is negotiating with USCe. People have simply arrived at the conclusion that IF J Batt interviewed at USCe, and USCe has interviewed their preferred candidate that J Batt must be their preferred candidate. GT fans should be good enough with logical reasoning that such a conclusion isn't necessarily true.

For any AD, particularly one who has to raise big dollars from notably cheap alumni, being a guy who constantly flirts with a bigger paycheck is a killer.

Yeah, but that's not what I asked. What's in it for the person who leaked this story?

If Batt wants to hear more about an opportunity, I have no issue with that. But it never should have seen the light of day UNLESS he accepted the position.

Agreed but it seems like the money that's going to Tech as a result of agreeing to move the UGA game off campus is simply coming from the purchasers of the COFH tickets, regardless of fanbase.

"Leaked" seems to me to be a very strong word for this situation.

An anonymous Twitter person posted that he interviewed. Was that supposition? Was it a "leak"? Was it that he heard that USCe contacted Batt to ask for an interview, but didn't really know if he actually interviewed or not? Lots and lots of supposition in this thread based on one anonymous Twitter post that didn't even say that Batt was leaving for USCe.

J Batt was live on 680 pregame a few minutes ago. Did not directly address the rumors, but he didn’t sound like a guy with one foot out the door either.

I spoke to a employee/ at 107.5 usce radio affiliate. I asked him what's up with the ad search and if he heard J Batt's name. He said no. Nothing, he isn't in the conversation. Who knows the real story.

Calm down man! I was making a joke!

I just started an opinion on what I have seen and mentioned why. While you just said I am wrong without saying anything else so I still have NO IDEA what you think is right or even what you think is wrong about what I said.
