When the option gets going there is no offense more exciting and satisfying for a fan. It destroys the will of the opponent. I'm looking forward to a team that once again buys into the package and makes this season special.

Im not worried so much about the option. I'm more worried about the D. I hope the team puts it all together this year for a great year on the Flats!

I generally try no to put too much stock into offseason attrition as it usually doesn't really have that big an impact on the depth chart. This year, however, the general lack of depth on the DL does have me a bit worried. I fear we gain strides on the offensive side of the ball only to surrender a few with the D. 2011 all over again...

But again, I'm probably worrying over nothing.

I agree.......I love those death marches that take 8-10 minutes off the clock.

Lacking a deep DL rotation the offense will need to dominate TOP. We will be worn down on D some this year by big 4 type opponents who usually themselves have decent defenses.

Probably the most revealing statement of the preseason so far. That is fine by me. I am ready for some crisp execution of the option concepts this year.
