Amazing how averages seem to happen. Very injury free first part of year. Guess length of season and tougher competition begin to takes it toll.

Pure speculation ahead. It could depend on how bad the tear is. The short term issue with an injury like this is the swelling which may not be a problem with the extra time before the game. If it's not a bad tear he might still be able to play with some intense bracing of the knee. I could see him at least trying to give that a shot considering it'd be the last game of his career.

He is definitely out for the season, he and Smelter both have surgery early next week.
