This season will be rough for him along with Kalani Sitaki of BYU. I think Boise State slips down to the Arizona or New Mexico Bowl and I think BYU doesn't go bowling at all.

Harsin is a clear drop down and undoing a lot of the good that Pederson built there. that's the main reason his seat is warm.

It wont be that long until Boise State's football program is on the level of Wyoming or New Mexico. All football programs rise and fall at some point and BSU is sliding back to where they were around the year 2000.

Butch Jones will be Tennessee head coach in 2018 if Tennessee wins 7-8 games this season. He's unlikely to be fired even with a losing record because they upped his contract after the 2015 season and the buyout would be extremely expensive and the coach they would hire would be an assistant,Mid-Major or FCS head coach.

Butch Jones buyout is around 12 million dollars. Tennessee upped his contract to 4.1 million a year until 2020.

UT fans think since Tennessee is in the SEC that all the top head coaches if they're available will be interest in them if they can pony up the bucks.

I would be nervous,if I were UT, having him as head coach because he's got no recruiting experience. Butch will probably be around until 2020 because Tennessee can't afford the really large buyout because after that they wouldn't have much money left to get a top shelf head coach. They would be stuck hiring a promising assistant,a Mid Major head coach on the rise or a retread. I could see them hiring someone like Kevin Sumlin when A&M cans him if UT decides to fire Butch.
