I hope to God he stays for next year. For anyone that is more tapped in then I am, is there any chance he is not here next year? I mean, I don’t see a reason why he would want to leave (other than money but I don’t think he’s that type of person), but the “tired of losing” quote piqued my interest.

Personally, I took it as more of "I'm tired of losing, and I'm going to do whatever I need to make sure we don't lose again" type comment than a shot across the bow that GT needs to start winning if we want to keep him.

GT fans, cherish the games you get to watch King play. We're watching a special player that doesn't come along often. What makes him even more special is how much all of this means to him.

I watched the game with some UGA buddies, and EVERY single one of them was absolutely in awe of him. "That kid is an absolute stud", "One tough SOB", "GD...I hate that guy", "UGA needs to write the biggest NIL check for that guy this offseason"...amongst others were repeated throughout the game. I've known some these guys since high school, and I've never heard them been this effusive in praise of any of our players....and we've had some REALLY good ones over the years. Kirby Smart himself kept bring up Haynes King whenever they put a mic in front of him.

It's unfortunate he had that late fumble, but GT is not in the position we were, and maybe not even close, without King. I know everyone is riding that Philo train at the moment (he'll be special one day as well), but every single one of our players/coaches/and probably some of fans will run through a brick wall for King. It's not just this game, it's been Hayne's entire career at GT. That kid literally puts this team on his back when he gets the chance, and I don't think he's thinking about his health when he takes those snaps.

For me, King's style embodies the GT ethos. Bust your @ss, be smart, be resilient, and do whatever it takes to succeed.

😢 Haynes King is a Man among men.

Understanding he’s sitting there mere minutes after an emotionally devastating loss, I’m sure his body racked with pain, he uttered those words. I hope this means he’s not done with GA Tech.

I kind of took it like Tebow's immortalized speech when Florida had just lost a game.

Nah… EVERYTHING we have seen from this guy and I mean EVERYTHING tells me the proper inference is that he is tired of losing, tired of GT losing, and he is going to drag this team (and each and every one of us) into the winners circle.

ND is 11-1 , graduates 100% of its athletes, has portaled in 2 top ACC qb, has well coached specimens in DL and Ol, has good defense. Why not go there?
.
Gt has Philo who is not able to run offense because he is too slow. They change offense to let him sling it

King (singleton, rutherford ) wants some passing numbers even if a few interceptions so he gets a resume for draft. Only in UGA did the hc allow pass down field first.

Why come back to Gt?

Answer- He won't leave till he accomplishes an acc championship. The guy is a Texas tough Kim King.
I doubled down at Gtaa

This game and HK as THE leader may be something this team carries fwd to have a great year next year and carry themselves into the playoffs, would not surprise me one bit. Like all I hated losing the game but it could be turned into a blessing. We'll see.
