Why is Michigan playing at Detroit-Mercy instead of the Michigan campus?

I meant more, they were saying on the broadcast that the game might be played in either MI or Atlanta. And I was wondering if there was some sort of criteria that went into that - like seeding or regular season RPI rank? If it's done based solely on attendance figures, that's bull****.

Wow how did a losing team get a Tournament invite?

Heard that they tied for 7th in the PAC-12, and the first 7 went to the NCAA...so the next team in line automatically goes to the WNIT. Had a disappointing end to their regular season.

Well, UDM is not downtown Detroit (actually on campus right now...My 2nd alma mater) Thinking about going tomorrow..... Haven't seen anything about tickets anywhere
