A couple of notes shared with me from a scout on two recruits:
-Chloe Kitts played like the gold medalist she is, after defeating Canada.
-Kate Harpring uses her length playing defense in the paint. A very good on ball defender. She s a three level scorer.

We are out on kitts. One must wonder what melious thinks seeing all these guards offered? Maybe even collins? Maybe kitts was looking like these are all guards being offered

Nicole understands we are going to run horn sets with guard isolation, small/quick lineups. She just wants us to have talent around her. In an interview, she spoke of the Hoopers getting new talent and how glad she is to help them in becoming collegiate players. Very unselfish to where most talent would worry about someone taking their shots away, she only wants the team to get better.

We need 5 of her on the court, at all times! Good teams have 2 superstars sharing the ball. Great clubs have 5 playing together, with improving chemistry as winning is the only goal.

GT is going to put emphasis back on defense, while trying to incorporate Nell Three-Ball with transition running. Tech has not really had the athletes or depth to run that system for an entire season. 2023: Melious, Dunn, Morgan, Boswell, Love, Ines, for three positions on the court. Would like to add two more to go with Bulane. That would make for 3 at each spot. Room for 6 in the 2 Post places; for an allowance of 15 scholarships. Ideally.

I don't think the top rated recruits are worried about other players being offered at their position. The top athletes are confident in their abilities. If a recruit is worried about their minutes before they even arrive on campus, they probably weren't going to see the court much anyway. The top recruits welcome all the talent that the team can surround them with because they are thinking that it is only going to help them avoid double teams.
