Credit to the players for fighting the entire game through the delay. The offensive play calling is horrendous though. There is no excuse not to run Mason on first and goal after the onside kick when we had them on their hills.

Just like last week, I was very impressed by our defense. I don’t care how bad their quarterback played; it is always impressive to hold any offense in this era to two touchdowns. The offense struggled like I expected, but showed some promising flashes. This is the kind of performance that makes me see a sustainable future for GT under Collins. You have to give them credit for having the team prepared. There are still deficiencies with this team, but I am proud of their performance today and that they didn’t give up. I hope we can parlay this momentum into a win next week!

Might I ask what happened in a similar situation (I assume) in 1989. I was still following He-Man and Thundercats back then.

A young Bobby Ross led team found themselves about this point in the season which sprung the unbelievable 1990 National Championship run

Good, hard fought game. Couldn’t ask for anything more from the players. Coaches still take odd timeouts.

Unsure whether Clemson O is just bad this year, but we’ll know more next week.

Clemson O just looks BAD, but credit to D for forcing two turnovers.

Our O looked good everywhere but the red zone (and on third down) but considering uGA didn’t punch it in on them it’s still not too shabby.

Don’t want our season to be full of moral victories, let’s shock NC next week

I don’t know if Clemson is falling off, we’re improving, or a little of both, but I’ll take it. Even if Clemson is falling off, I refuse to believe that Dabo let his team go from 5 consecutive years of dominance (and about a decade of being very good) to being terrible over the course of a single offseason. Way to fight it out, boys!

Proud of the team, Most competetive we have been against top tier competition in over 5 years.

This has to be Yates' team going forward. No question about it. He outplayed Clemson QB this game and played better than uGA's qb against the same defence. WE HAVE OUR QUARTERBACK!!!

They honestly didn't even need to sneak it. Instead of taking the delay of game, the QB could have snapped it and kneed it right away. That would have been the game too.

Proud of the team. Defense played like winners. Yates is a warrior. Always want to score more, but we doubled the number of offensive points clemson's defense gave up this year, so I can't complain.
